Chocolaterie de l'Opéra® was founded by Oivier de Loisy® in 1995. Its "Pures Plantations® range" is the most popular product, which have its own distinctive features like specialty coffee or whiskey. With extremely high requirements for the quality of chocolate, Oivier de Loisy® even personally went to the production area to instruct local farmers to grow cocoa to ensure that the harvest meets his ideal standards. In other words, l'Opéra only uses 100% fine-quality cocoa beans, and all dark chocolates do not use any African beans nor add vanilla pods.
It adopts innovative production technology and fine roasting combination according to different varieties to fully exert the flavor and character of cocoa beans while effectively extending the shelf life of the finished product. In as early as 1995, l'Opéra was the pioneer in producing single origin chocolates. Not only did it use the world's most recognized cocoa beans, each kind of chocolate can faithfully present the Terroir. Many connoisseur and gourmets even snap up the limited edition launched every year.
