Champion of the 2018 Les Masters de la Boulangerie, Wang Peng Chieh is the founder of Shakespeare Bakery and a veteran deeply rooted in the baking industry. Guided by his brand philosophy—“Focus on the Essence, Return to Flavor, People First”—he upholds artisan craftsmanship and uncompromising quality, bringing Taiwan’s baking culture to international prominence.
After years of refinement through global competitions, he achieved outstanding results in both individual and team categories at the 2018 Les Masters de la Boulangerie, ultimately claiming the World Championship title in 2018. When Taiwanese Tea Meets World-Class Bread Craft
In this masterclass, the two champions unite to interpret a new dialogue between tea and bread. Inspired by Taiwan’s finest local teas—Tieguanyin and Red Oolong—they incorporate roasted aromas, ripe-fruit notes, and layered sweetness into European bread techniques, presenting a seamless fusion of terroir culture and competition-level artistry.
