UIBC International Competition For Young Bakers 2026
Overview
The UIBC International Competition for Young Bakers, launched in 1971 in Berlin, annually brings together participants from 12-14 UIBC member countries. For young talents in the industry, this event represents a unique opportunity to showcase their artisanal skill on a global stage and gain valuable international experience.
This international competition brings together the most promising young baking talents from around the world. Participants demonstrate their skills in a wide variety of disciplines: from traditional and modern breads and pastries to creative products. Under the dynamic theme “Sport” this year, national teams will showcase creativity, craftsmanship, and teamwork through outstanding bread and pastry creations.
Taiwan, the only Asian country to host this prestigious competition, proudly welcomes the world once again in 2026, marking the second time the event is held on the island. As an international junior competition, UIBC serves as a vital stepping stone for young bakers toward the global professional stage.
